Some of the best street tacos I've ever had. I go there just about every week, if not twice.Tacos trompo, quesadillas, elotes, tortas . . . . I've never had a bad dish here.And their red and green sauces are over the top delicious.

I've had a few things here and the portions are huge. Mexico burger is seriously amazing. Pastor pork - a burger, bacon strip, avocado, buns are great here because he makes his own tortas and stuff. The breakfast is nice too. Its nice to see somebody who can fry an egg right and cares about flavor

Go here weekly for the breakfast burrito. Always tasty and always consistent. Chorizo is my favourite and all you need is 1 to be stuffed.

Don’t let the gas station exterior fool you, this is one of the best taqueria I’ve eaten from. Delicious, cheap, and fast. Everything a great taqueria should be!

I have been looking for a reliable taco/burrito place for weeks. I gave 1 star reviews to 4 different places that advertise (on Google and/or their website) their hours but are not open when they say they will be open. That's not the end of the world, but it is a huge pain in the neck when you drive to a place only to find they are not open when they said they will be open.Anyway, Torta is in the Shell station at the corner of Rowlett Rd and Miller Rd. I stopped there around 7:30 am today (sign says they open at 7am) and ordered an egg and chorizo burrito. I saw fresh tamales so also bought a dozen pork tamales. I have to say I was very impressed with the breakfast burrito - it was made fresh while I waited, full of egg and chorizo and the tamale was lightly grilled. Perfect!!! Their tamales are packed full of real pulled pork and the masa is not too thick. Prices are reasonable and everything was fresh and hot. I also want to note the lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this eatery.

It's a gas station, so atmosphere isn't important, however, they have the best breakfast burritos in Rowlett!
